Ethno-Food finest quality
We have primarily specialized in the production of meat and sausage products according to the culinary traditions of Eastern Europe, as well as Eastern European dumplings like Pelmeni and Vareniki. The product range is continuously expanded. Existing products are also constantly further developed. Meanwhile, pancakes, Gyoza, and Cevapcici have also become part of the product range. When production started in 1996, the population mainly from Eastern Europe and the former CIS countries formed a large target group for Monolith Fleisch- und Teigwaren GmbH. The company's products are now available to customers throughout Europe. By expanding and updating our sales assortment, new target groups have continually been reached. Today, the local population shows increasing interest not only in Germany but in all countries where our products are available.
Numbers and facts
The origin of today's Monolith Fleisch- und Teigwarenfabrik GmbH dates back to 1996. Production under the company name "GERMES Lebensmittel" began in Fürth with a daily capacity of just under 5 tons. Starting from
The popularity of sausage and pasta specialties resulted in steady growth. An expansion of production was achieved through a new production facility in Nuremberg. Its potential (nearly 10 tons daily) was also exhausted in 2001, after which production was relocated to Schwabach. When the company started operations, around 30 people were employed there. The product range included 130-140 items. Today, on a production area of over 3800 m2 and 10,000 m² of company grounds, top products are manufactured under the most modern production conditions for the German food retail market and numerous distribution networks.
In 2022, another production facility was opened in Schwabach. This is where our pasta products are made. The daily production volume amounts to approximately 40 tons.
Today, Monolith Fleisch- und Teigwarenfabrik GmbH in Schwabach produces approximately 80 tons daily and employs around 180 staff members. The product range has been expanded to about 300 items and includes Eastern European sausage specialties as well as pelmeni and vareniki (dumplings).
The quality and hygiene standards we maintain meet high demands. This is confirmed by internationally recognized certifications such as IFS Food.
